The Faces of Occupy Wall Street – Maggie

“I got laid off during the recession and I’m also losing my house so I’ve been affected a lot [by the economic crisis]. I’m just trying to have the economy be fair. The taxes for the 1% need to be more. There’s an inequality here. Tax the 1% not the 99%. I do believe this movement will create change. It’s across many, many states right now. I do believe that this is making a difference. We are the people. We are speaking and I hope they hear us.”
